I enjoy the challenge of supporting people to achieve a happy, fulfilled and meaningful life. I especially enjoy the complexities of supporting individuals with an acquired brain injury as each day is different.What matters most in good support?
Every person is unique. A good understanding of each person's needs and aspirations and how to meet their needs is essential.Bio:
Michele started her social care career as a bank support worker in 1998 in the learning disability sector. She undertook her level 2 NVQ, then level 3, became a deputy manager with Sussex Health Care as a full time employee in 1999. Michele then successfully completed level 4 then level 5 and managed a service for SH. Her next career step was to manage a 22 bedded care home in Reigate, still within the learning disability sector. When she joined Independent Lifestyles she retrained in ABI (acquired brain injury) and opened ABI house - she has worked for ILS ever since.
