Millstone located in Sayers Common, West Sussex aims to offer a range of activities in a therapeutic, supported and calm environment to develop specific skills and encourage self-esteem, greater independence, well-being and confidence. Customer groups include those with Learning Disability, Autism, Mental Health and Complex Needs.
All of our sessions run in an intimate setting with experienced and skilled support staff, which enables a better level of social interaction and active engagement. All sessions are planned and tailored to the needs of each customer. As such, we operate a high ratio of staffing to ensure that welfare, personal care, daily skills, health and well-being and interaction skills are met whilst being offered a safe environment in which the customers can participate in meaningful occupation.

Sessions are three hours long at any one time. The sessions are run flexibly and can include the following activities depending on diarised events:

We encourage customers to actively engage and plan activities to best meet their needs.

Customers are welcome to bring lunch/tea and snacks as required for the duration of their session at Millstone. We offer tea and coffee making facilities, fridge and microwave for customer use.
We are open all year round apart from Bank Holidays.
